Advent and Christmas.

Advent originates from the Latin ‘advents’, meaning arrival or approach.

This season begins the Church Kalendar, and looks with expectancy to the arrival of Christ at Christmas. It is a season of spiritual preparation and repentance. As such, Saint Thomas Clapton is seeking to make space for parishioners (that’s you!) to find spaces of prayer, reflection and peace in a busy time. We are rediscovering and reframing ancient Christian traditions, and seeking to make them new for the space and place we find ourselves. We also want to make sure that there are places the next generation can engage with the season, creating family-friendly fun.

Below is listed all we have to offer this year. We will also share the Mass together on Christmas Eve morning as our usual Sunday service, and have a mass on Christmas Day at 10:30am.
